Brife Introduction
Glass wool is a kind of fibrous material made of natural ores such as quartz sand, dolomite, feldspar, limestone and so on, which are melted into glass fluid by adding in accessories such as calcite soda and borax and then drawn, blown or thrown into very thin fibers by external force under fusing state. Its a kind of insulation material with excellent characters.
Producing Process and Equipment
A) Raw Material Feeding System
The raw material feeding system of glass wool production line mainly consist of automatic batching machine and feeding machine etc. The crushed raw material ( cullet, feldspar, dolomite etc. ) which with suitable size will loaded into respective hoppers and through accurate mixing and weighing. At last, the mixed raw material will feeding into melting furnace by elevating hopper.
B) Melting System
The raw material melting system of glass wool production line mainly consist of melting furnace, electric control cabinet etc. It is to melt the raw material, then the raw material will become a molten state for fiberizing.
C) Fiberizing System
The fiberizing system of glass wool production line mainly consist of high speed centrifuge, wool dust remover etc. The molten lava will flow to the high speed rotating centrifuge, then threw into thin fibers through thousands of micropores by centrifugal force.
D) Fiber Collecting & Allocating System
The fiber collecting and allocating system of glass wool production line mainly consist of wool collector and pendulum allocator etc. The formed fibers will be collected together by wool collector and then become a thin felt, the wool allocator will allocating the thin felt layer by layer and conveying them to the next process.
E) Board Making System
The board making system of glass wool production line mainly consist of curing oven etc.
Curing oven is the key equipment in the process. The raw blanket pleated by the upper and lower conveyors in curing oven, and then heated and dried through hot air system. Finally, the raw blanket became the product which with a certain weight and width.
F) Cutting System
The cutting system of glass wool production line mainly consist of longitudinal cutter and cross cutter etc. The longitudinal and cross cutting is according to the product dimension requirements to cut the two ends and the middle of the glass wool board which is come from curing oven.
G) Stacking & Packing System
The stacking & packing system of glass wool production line mainly consist of auto stacker and packing machine etc. Auto stacker is to stack the wool boards together by packing quantity requirements, then the stacked wool boards will packed together by packing machine. The packages of packed glass wool product will be more easy for transport and storage.
