Sound Proof Mineral Rock Wool Production Line
Rock wool is a kind of synthetic fiber made by high temperature melting and blowing of basalt and coke, cinder, with a certain amount of auxiliary material. It is recognized as the ideal insulation material both for commercial and industrial construction due to its meticulous features: non-combustibility, innocuity, lightness, low heat conduction coefficient, fine sound absorption performance, insulation, high chemical stability, durability.
Main Equipment of Production Line
Feeding system, Cupola furnace, Centrifuge, Fiber Collecting system, Pendulum and drum type fiber collection, Crimping system, Curing oven, Dust-collection system, Cooling portion, Longitudinal and Cross cutter, recycle system, Packing Machine.
Production Process Description
With the help of feeding conveyors, the raw materials like basalt, dolomite or slag and coke are delivered in to cupola, where raw materials are melted at a very high temperature, and fed to the spinner(centrifuge). Prepared binder and modifying additives are evenly sprayed over the formed fibers through spinner nozzles.
The fibers, sprayed with binder, are collected by the pendulum and drum type fiber collection and evenly distributed onto the next section, taking into account preset width, thickness and density of a finished product,
After preliminary crimping, the rock wool is fed to the curing oven where the binders are dried, and then it will be cut into finished prset finished product with specified specification. With the stacking and packing process, the final products can be delivered to warehouse and await for shipment to customers.
