XPS Foam Board Production Line(Plastic Machine)

 

 

Introduction of XPS Production Line 

 Extruded polystyrene foam board (XPS) is mainly made from polystyrene resin, with small amount of additives through heating and extruding system.It is a rigid foam with honeycomb structure. XPS board has nearly 100% closed-cell structure,and has many advantages including light-weight,high pressure resistance,waterproof,low thermal conductivity,dimensional stability etc.

 

The main producing process are showed as below: 

First, PS solid granules are fed into the primary extruder, heated and melted into viscous fluid, which is injected foaming agent (HFC, carbon dioxide, butane are optional) at the secondary extruder.

Then, under careful controlled heating and pressure, the fluid is forced through a die head where forming and shaping occurs. Finally, the rigid foam board is cut and trimmed into required dimensions.

1. The machine adopts PLC touch screen and automatic computer control, making the operation more convenient and simpler.

 

2. Vesicant from the 150 screw inject into the machinery so that the equipment on the request of polystyrene recycling materials is very low, greatly reducing the cost of raw materials.

 

3. The machine has automatic measurement device for the width and thickness of the block. Customers can select besed on the requirement.

 

4. For technology control, taking into account the CO2 foam technology and automation to conveniently change the type and improvement.
